While the Smoky Mountains offers
an infinite amount of entertainment options, some of the best attractions are
tucked away from the main city of Gatlinburg. A long time favorite of locals
and seasoned visitors, the Smoky Mountain Speedway is one of the most unique
attractions found in the Smokies. Located in Maryville the speedway has been
around for over 40 years and some of the greatest names in racing have driven
the track. More recently, the speedway has carried on that tradition of big
name races. In the past few years the speedway has picked up increased
attention and will even be hosting multiple races from National Tours in 2014.
A great event for the entire family, the Smoky Mountain Speedway offers multiple
different ticket options for surprisingly low prices. Tickets range from as low
as $15 for grandstand seats to pit passes for $35. Children under 6 are
admitted for free. Whether you decide to make it an all day event or just a
couple hours, the Smoky Mountain Speedway is a fun event for the whole family.
